Q. What do you charge for your services?

For editing services, I will give a quote for each project after a free sample edit. If we agree to work together, the price and payment schedule will be laid out in a contract agreement that we will both sign. If you would like an idea of how much editing services generally cost, check the EFA rate chart here. Note that this chart shows a median range, and that some editors will charge more or less than the median based on their level of experience and other factors. I will base each project's rate on word count, estimated time to complete the edit based on what I find in the sample edit, and my level of experience. Since I'm a newer editor, my base rate will be below the EFA median.
For beta reading services, I charge based on word count. My current rate is $0.001 per word (USD).
