If anything in the work displays a damaging, dehumanizing, or overgeneralized view on the author's part about anyone because of race, nationality, sex, religion, disability, etc., I don't approve, and will point it out when I see it. Sometimes it's done without the author realizing it. If it becomes clear that it's intentional and meant unkindly, I won't edit or read that material.
